Aviation Medicine Doctors Association are delighted to announce “Mental Health Provision and Human Factor Impacts in Aviation” Session including PSP Workshop provided by the Board of the European Pilot Peer Support Initiative (EPPSI)

The Session Program includes:

  • Working on the issues in the context of Peer Support Program.

The participants will get comprehensive information on features of the Program in regard of new safety rules on air operations, including new provisions to better support the mental fitness of aircrew published by EASA. They will get a unique opportunity to exchange their practical experience and the results achieved.

  • Methodological approaches in aviation psychology, ways to improve the current system of professional psychological selection of aviation personnel, significance of mental assessment.
  • Existing practices of psychological trainings for aviation personnel and their significance in terms of safety provision as well as development and implementation of fatigue management programs.

Dr. Gerhard Fahnenbruck, Clinical director of Mayday Foundation, Psychologist, ATPL pilot.

Gunnar Steinhardt, MSc — Aviation Psychologist, Human Factors manager, Cargolux Airlines International, EAAP Board member.

Current issues of aviation psychology and human factor impact will be introduced by the leading Russian researchers and practitioners in the field:
